The Material

Consumer product manufacturers worldwide use Eastar™ copolyester for its durability, clarity, colorability, and ability to accommodate complex shapes. Eastar provides superior chemical resistance and barrier properties while remaining BPA-free, crucial qualities for consumer products like juices and sport drinks.

Eastar™ copolyesters are ideal for totally transparent, geometrically complex, and flexible product packing, created through extrusion blow molding processes. An excellent example of Eastar’s capabilities are embodied in POM’s 48-ounce juice jugs, which preserve the curved shape and transparency of their original bottle while incorporating a large integral handle.
